Myrtle Beach Seventh-day Adventist Church

COVID-19 Guidelines

In cooperation with officials from the Carolina Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, our Church Leadership Staff has developed the following guidelines. Every effort has been made to provide our members and visitors with a safe, clean environment which addresses the health concerns raised by the COVID-19 virus, yet still allows a worship service which honors our Lord.

Come Worship with Us!

Our church has been open for over a month and God has greatly blessed! We have rejoiced in having four baptisms and have several more planned for the near future. Each Sabbath, we join together as brothers and sisters in a holy convocation to praise, and sing, and hear the word of the Lord. The COVID-19 virus has been an obstacle, but with God’s help, we have worked together to follow the recommended health protocols and have stayed safe.

It was for a time such as this that we read in Hebrews 10:26,

Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”

We believe the day of Christ’s return is fast approaching, and now more than ever, we need to come together as a church family.

There are those who are unable to attend because of serious risk factors, but for all those who are able, we strongly encourage you to come back to church. We miss you. Come back to the Lord’s house. It is time!

General Information:

Our Sabbath School study hour starts at 10:00 a.m. every Saturday morning and our worship services start at 11:00.

Due to the success of our health protocols, we have decided to add singing back into our services. Facemasks must continue to be worn, but it is a joy to once again lift our voices in song!

Each week, in order to make adequate preparations, a headcount of the number of worshipers is needed.

*** If you plan to attend, please call Lynn Malcolm at 910-287-5751 and state how many people will be in your party.

Additionally, if you desire to use the Mother’s Training Room, please include this in your reservation request. To maintain social distancing, only one family may use the room each week. All occupants must be of the same household.

Attendance Guidelines:

  • Anyone with fever, body aches, chills, cough, or otherwise feeling ill should not attend. Those with active allergy-related coughing or sneezing should also stay home.
  • Senior citizens and those with certain preexisting conditions are at a higher risk and should prayerfully consider when to resume attendance.
  • For those unable to attend;
    • You are encouraged to watch our worship service on the “Myrtle Beach Seventh Day Adventist Church” YouTube channel.
    • Offerings may be given through AdventistGiving.org, or by sending your offerings to our church treasurer
